Club100 at Le Mans
Former IMSD team mates Eddie Hall, Stephen Deuchar and Seth Scott Deuchar were
reunited on 5/6 July 2008 for the annual 24 Le Mans Kart race, forming part of a
six-man team which also included their former rivals from RBB Economics, Dan
Gore and Simon Young. The sixth driver in the team, Club100, was Le Mans
specialist Ashley Evans.

The team showed a good blend of speed and experience but was let down by poor
mechanical reliability, losing more than 20 laps during the course of the race
as a result of recurring problems with one of the pro-kart's twin engines. A
first or second in class would otherwise have been on the cards. In the end
they finished 7th.

Five of the team's six members are competing against each other in this year's
Club100 Lightweight Sprint championship, currently led by Eddie Hall, who now
drives for 3Cubed in the Premier Endurance series along with Ian Wilson and two
former rivals from In It to Bin It. 15-year old Seth cannot compete in the
Endurance series due to school commitments, but he and father Stephen hope to
enter at least one round of the championship in their Double Esses team before
the close of 2008.
