Whilton Mill hosted round two of the 2007 Premier Endurance Championship but it was yet another disappointing day for IMSD Racing as the team again struggled for race pace and struggled home a disappointing 13th.
Eddie qualified a very disappointing 23rd on the 31 kart grid after getting badly held up on two of his runs. Ian Wilson made a brilliant start, making up 8 places on the opening lap to establish the team easily in the mid field. It soon became obvious, however, that the kart was suffering with bottom-end; a problem that became worse throughout the race.
Neither Eddie, or either of the Ian’s could match the pace of their rivals and never really broke inside the top 10. The finished way down in 13th place. |
