Bittersweet Victory for IMSD
It was a bittersweet day for the IMSD Racing team, as the A team scored a dominant victory while the B team suffered a miserable race and withdrew.

The A Team consisted of Stephen Deuchar and Eddie Hall, while the B Team was made up of Ian Wilson and Ian Miller.

Eddie and Stephen qualified fourth on the 28 kart grid and took the lead on the first lap, losing it briefly only once when Stephen got called in for a penalty for overtaking under a yellow flag. They were leading by well over a lap when Eddie made a rare mistake towards the end of the two hours and binned it into the tyres, losing their lap advantage and taking the chequered flag by only 18 seconds.

By contrast, the B team qualified in 9th and dropped down the order early on. Ian Miller managed to pick up the pace and got as high as 5th. Their day started to go down from here when a mix-up in the pit signals saw Miller come into the pits when the team were signalling Deuchar, meaning he had to drive around for another lap before Ian Wilson took over. Wilson then went out and suffered huge accident damage, losing a wheel and having to come into the pits to change the kart.

He went out but struggled with a bad handing replacement, being lapped by Eddie in the A team three times before pulling into the pits and withdrawing.

Despite this disappointment, it was a great win for the A-Team and was a much needed boost after the disappointment of the last Club100 race in November.
