Seth’s private views of his competitors!
As Seth is now half way through the August summer break we have managed to persuade him to take time off his busy training schedule to express his views of his fellow competitors in F6 Junior Royale 2005. So here is Seth writing exclusively for his official website.

“Ryan Presley: Ryan is a fast and very ambitious driver. He has won two races this year and is probably the best over-taker on the grid. At times I think he can be too aggressive, but he’s currently my main championship rival and he’s always going to push hard.

Carla Wellings: Carla had lots to prove this year, having a tough year last year and being the only girl driver. Despite missing the first round of the year due to an injury, she is in third position in the championship and could still challenge for the win. She’s really fast and always fair.

Michael Gibbons: Michael was new to Junior Royale karting this year and despite a shaky start to the season is now lying fourth in the championship. I think by the end of the year, Michael could be a front-running driver.

Chris Charlton: Chris is a good and very experienced driver. He is unfortunately a fair way over the weight limit, and therefore has had a quite unpredictable season. He did very well at Lydd, in mixed weather conditions, earlier this year.

Jamie Haines: Jamie is always as quick as his kart allows. He’s also the best defensive driver on the grid. He has had two wins this season, but has often been let down by his kart. He is therefore down in sixth position in the championship.

Sam Holt: Sam is another driver new to Junior Royale this season. He is a nice and quiet person who is very quick. His lap times are usually very similar to mine. He broke his arm earlier in the season so missed a couple of races and is well down the championship table.

Conor Reynolds: He’s quite a nice guy and always a fair driver on the track. He doesn’t seem to have outright speed yet but, like me, he’s still learning.

Jonathan Jones: I raced with him last year in Rookie Cadet. He’s usually a bit off the pace, but found some speed at the non-championship race at Sandown Park earlier this month. I’m sure he’ll be quick next year.

Dylan Ip Ting Wah: He’s getting faster all the time, and in fact has had the fastest laps in some recent races. His kart is probably the quickest on the grid – incredible straightline speed: no-one could get close to him at Sandown. Could win an F6 round this year. A very popular driver, and always apologises (unlike some other drivers!) when he gets it wrong.

James Holden: A novice at the start of the year who was incredibly quick at the second Bayford race, winning quite comfortably from me. Since then he’s missed a few races due to injury. It would be great to see him back on the grid"
