Target Racing joined forces with Galliard to compete in the 2009 European championship at Spa Francorchamps. Galliard's Paul Williams joined Lee Kemp and Eddie Hall to form Les Coupe d'Herbe. Les Coupe have a solid history at Spa, having finished 5th and 6th overall at the previous two visits. Eddie Hall has won the Clubman event twice.
The trio looked on course for another top 5 finish before engine problems on the second day dropped them down to 8th at the flag. A communication error by the officials meant that Lee Kemp was called in for the same stop and go penalty twice for an incident that didn't involve him.
Target Racing's Chris Bell was also competing at Spa in the Clubman championship and finished 3rd. |
