SWIM 21
(Important Notice)
Worthing Swimming Club are currently working towards their Swim 21 accreditation. An improvement plan is currently being created which is a key part of becoming a Swim 21 club. There is a lot of work to be done to achieve this status, so if you are willing to help in any way over the next few months, please speak to Chris Luesley.
In addition, if you have any questions about what Swim 21 is and how it will affect the way the club is run, please visit
www.britishswimming.org and go to the section on Swim 21 or speak to Chris who is the Swim 21 co-ordinator for Worthing Swimming Club. The Diving and Water Polo sections of the club will also be working towards a Swim 21 accreditation.
An initial benefit of working towards being a Swim 21 club is that some funding is available towards courses for teachers, coaches and helpers. If you would like to help with teaching or coaching and would like to get a qualification, please speak to Chris about the options available.
Look out for further information that will be posted on the clubs website www.worthingswimmingclub.org and on the notice board in the Aquarena over the next few months. This will reflect what is required for us to achieve Swim 21 status and the benefits that will bring.
